Bone Augmentation

When there are deficiencies with your bone, bone augmentation can be utilized to create the height and width needed. In some cases, bone augmentation is done prior to dental implant placement to create an ideal environment for the implants.

With bone augmentation, a graft made up of your bone or a synthetic substance is surgically placed to address the defect. This graft creates additional support for an implant, preserves gum tissue and improves the appearance cosmetically.
